Russian President Vladimir Putin has received an invitation to join the mechanism, the Kremlin said, adding that Moscow is studying all the details of this proposal and hopes to contact the American side to clarify the nuances.

Germany has received an invitation, a government spokesperson said Monday, adding that Germany shares the goal of maintaining peace in the world and wants to help permanently resolve the Gaza conflict. The European Commission said President Ursula von der Leyen has received an invitation and is consulting EU leaders, adding that the EU is ready to support a comprehensive plan to end the Gaza conflict.

France on Monday reaffirmed its commitment to the UN charter after being invited to join President Trump's "Board of Peace". The French foreign ministry said it is reviewing the proposal and reiterated its attachment “to the UN charter which remains the cornerstone of effective multilateralism”.

The draft charter suggests the Council will initially focus on the Gaza issue and then expand to other conflicts, raising the possibility that it could become a parallel structure to the UN Security Council.

Israeli government leaders have strongly rejected the executive structure of the Board of Peace proposed by President Trump. Israel said it would not allow troops from Qatar or Turkey to be deployed to Gaza. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the focus of the second phase of the Gaza peace plan will be the disarmament of Hamas and the demilitarization of Gaza.
