(VOVWORLD) - The Voice of Vietnam (VOV) on Tuesday broadcast live the opening ceremony of the 14th National Party Congress on multiple national radio channels and digital platforms. The live coverage aired on VOV1 and VOVWORLD, whose Vietnamese-language program is broadcast to overseas Vietnamese communities, giving domestic and international listeners timely coverage of the Congress.

From 6:00 to 8:00 a.m., before the opening ceremony, VOV1 aired a special program called “A New Era – A New Vision – Great Aspirations”. Radio listeners and platform followers have expressed to VOV a strong hope that the Congress will make sound decisions that will give momentum to Vietnam’s rapid and sustainable development in the years ahead.

Commenting on draft documents submitted to the Congress, Associate Professor Dr. Pham Ngoc Trung, former lecturer at the Academy of Journalism and Communication, said: “The guiding viewpoints presented were concise, accurately reflecting objective laws and the current stage of national development. The General Secretary said culture must be the spiritual foundation, a resource, and a driving force for social development. These are new perspectives, placing culture in its rightful and important position. For national development, we must build cultural spaces within families, schools, workplaces, and a civilized, progressive digital environment. These are crucial arguments, the foundation and guiding principles for the Party and the people in the coming period.”
