(VOVworld) - Muslims held rallies across Italy on Saturday in protest against terrorism after last Friday’s deadly terror attacks in the French capital Paris.

The rallies took place amidst increasing concerns about possible terrorist attacks in Italy following terro attacks in Paris. The Muslim community in Italy held rallies to protest brutal activities of the extreme Muslim terrorism and showed their will to join hand to fight terrorism. Several Italian politicians also attended the rallies. At present, there are about 1.6 million Muslim followers in Italy, ranking 2^nd after the number of Catholic followers.
