(VOVworld) - In reaction to last month’s deadly attacks in Paris, US House leaders said Thursday the chamber will vote next week on a bill proposed by US Representative Candice Miller to tighten requirements on nations whose citizens are allowed to travel to the US without a visa. Miller’s bill, which also won praise from House Speaker Paul Ryan, requires the 38 countries participating in the Visa Waiver Program to continually share data with the US on foreign travelers and adds terrorism to the list of risk factors for which officials may prevent someone from entering the country. It would also require the Department of Homeland Security to suspend countries' participation in the program,  which provides for tens of millions of tourists and others to visit the US each year, if they don't meet the new requirements.
