VFF presents Tet gifts to AO victims in Phu Tho

(VOVworld) – President of the Vietnam Fatherland Nguyen Thien Nhan distributed 200 Tet gifts to Agent Orange/ Dioxin victims in Thanh Thuy and Thanh Son districts in Phu Tho province.

He told the local villagers that Tet was an opportunity to pay tribute to national contributors including people exposed to Agent Orange/ Dioxin during the war. The Party, State, and the Fatherland Front have implemented a number of programs to realize the policy. Mr. Nhan said: “I’d like to express my sincere thank to the war veterans and former young volunteers during the war to liberate the southern region for national reunification. We expect that you, who were unfortunately exposed to Agent Orange/ Dioxin, will encourage your children to work harder to improve your lives.”

Mr. Nhan urged Phu Tho province’s Red Cross Society and the Association of AO victims to support and generate jobs for the victims.
