Vietnamese, Lao National Assemblies strengthen cooperation

The two parliamentary leaders highlighted the strong and comprehensive development of Vietnam–Laos relations across all fields. They welcomed the joint publication of the book “50 Years of Relations between the National Assemblyies of Vietnam and Laos,” describing it as vivid evidence of the long-standing and comprehensive cooperation between the two legislatures. They agreed to step up communication efforts on bilateral relations, particularly among younger generations.

The two sides agreed to further strengthen close coordination between the two National Assemblies, enhance oversight of the implementation of high-level agreements, expand cooperation among parliamentary committees, promote exchanges among friendship parliamentary groups, women parliamentarians and young parliamentarians, and boost people-to-people exchanges.
