(VOV) - The Minister of Trade and Industry has approved a master plan on industrial development for the Lang Son, Hanoi, Hai Phong and Quang Ninh Economic Corridor until 2020. Under the scheme,  8 industrial groups will be developed including mechanics, and metallurgy, electronics and IT, processing of agro-forestry products, food and beverages, energy, apparel and footwear, chemicals, construction materials and support industry. The Ministry has listed 55 major investment projects 13 of which are in energy. It has asked the People’s Committees of 8 provinces and cities to adjust their local industrial development strategies to accord with the corridor’s master plan.
