VOV upholds truth, humanity in digital age
(VOVWORLD) - The Voice of Vietnam (VOV) hosted a forum titled “Radio and AI” on Friday to mark World Radio Day (February 13).
VOV Vice President Vu Hai Quang (C), Head of the UNESCO Office in Vietnam Jonathan Baker (L), and VOV reporter Anh Thu join the forum from Hanoi, February 2026 |
Participants included VOV Vice President Vu Hai Quang; Head of the UNESCO Office in Vietnam Jonathan Baker; and Head of Radio at the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union Andrew Davis, who joined virtually from Malaysia.
Speakers discussed the opportunities and challenges posed by AI, emphasizing the importance of ethical standards and transparency in the application of new technologies.
No matter how advanced AI becomes, radio must safeguard its two core values: truth and humanity, VOV Vice President Quang stressed.
“The mission of radio professionals goes beyond delivering information - it is about connecting people. If we preserve these two values, radio will not be replaced. Instead, it will shine even more brightly in the digital era,” he noted.
