In response to this year’s theme, many radio stations are organizing joint broadcasts, panel discussions, and professional forums. At the Vatican, Radio Vaticana – Vatican News has launched a special initiative in 7 languages – a thematic podcast series of 7 radio programs on the future of radio, innovation, and the relationship between the media, society, and AI.

Radio stations in Italy are collaborating on simulcast programs, broadcasting the same content about AI and media ethics simultaneously on multiple channels.

In Jordan and Australia, broadcasters are conducting community activities, and many digital radio organizations are holding training sessions and demonstrations on using AI to produce content. Although technology is opening up new modes of production, media professionals say the core value of radio still lies in human presence and responsibility.

"No algorithm can replace the trust built between radio hosts and their audiences. No artificial intelligence can fully recreate the warmth of a live voice in moments of joy, uncertainty, or crisis,” Dan Santa, Vice President of the International Radio-Television Union, said.
