Ho Chi Minh City had the most cases of 5,368, followed by Binh Duong with 3,440 cases and Dong Nai with 759 cases. Hanoi recorded 51 cases.

As of Wednesday, Vietnam reported a total of 473,530 COVID-19 cases, ranking 56th out of 222 countries and territories.

On the same day, 9,862 patients were declared cured, bringing the total number of cured cases to 248,722.

In the past 24 hours, 364 more deaths were reported in 18 provinces and cities. The total number of deaths from COVID-19 in Vietnam so far is 11,868.
