Lawmakers underscored the special significance of the opening session of the new term in addressing the nation’s key priorities – from high-level personnel appointments to strategic orientations for socio-economic development, national defense, and security in the years ahead.
NA Deputy Chu Manh Hung of Tay Ninh province said, “We believe the development goals set by the Party and State, along with the mandates outlined for the National Assembly in General Secretary To Lam's speech, will be realized.”
“The outcomes of this first session will generate the momentum needed for the National Assembly to effectively carry out its responsibilities in the sessions to come,” said Hung.
Deputy Bui Hoai Son of the Hanoi delegation said personnel work at this session is of paramount importance, because major policies and national aspirations hinge on the strength of the state apparatus and its leadership.
“Voters nationwide and lawmakers alike place great trust in the Government and the 16th National Assembly,” said Son, adding, “We’re looking for leaders who are bold in thinking and decisive in action, with a strong sense of responsibility to both the people and the nation’s future. With a leadership team that embodies integrity, dedication, competence, and vision, we can truly unlock new opportunities for national development.”
