On the sidelines of the ongoing 1st session of the 16th National Assembly, deputies expressed strong commitment and high expectations regarding personnel work, and the improvement of institutions and socio-economic development orientations for the 2026–2031 term.
Deputy Chu Manh Hung from the Tay Ninh delegation, said: “With the attention of Party and State leaders, and the responsibility of the National Assembly and its deputies, we believe that the orientations set out by the Party and the State for national development and the tasks assigned by General Secretary To Lam to the National Assembly, will enable the outcomes of this first session to lay the foundation for subsequent sessions to fulfill their tasks effectively. The country’s development orientations will be firmly established through National Assembly sessions.”
Deputy Bui Hoai Son from the Hanoi delegation, said: “Voters nationwide and National Assembly deputies have high expectations for the personnel of the Government and the 16th National Assembly. They will be individuals who dare to think, dare to act, and demonstrate determination and responsibility to voters and the country at present and the future. Having a leadership with integrity, capability, qualifications and vision will create more opportunities for national development.”
