The Party leader was speaking at a Hanoi program themed “Prosperous Vietnam” which honored outstanding examples nationwide in 2025 in studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s thoughts, morality, and style and highlighted the aspiration to build a prosperous and happy country in the new era.

“Every cadre and Party member, especially leaders, must set an example through concrete actions and tangible results, truly inspiring and igniting the desire to contribute within each collective, locality, agency, and unit. Every Vietnamese citizen must unceasingly strive for self-reliance, self-sufficiency, and self-strength, making active contributions to national development. Each exemplary individual in studying and following Uncle Ho’s teachings need to continuously and strongly spread the values they have created, and keep contributing even more to realizing President Ho Chi Minh's aspirations.”

General Secretary Lam urged the entire Party and the entire political system to focus on operating the two-tiered local government model in an efficient way and taking care of the lives of the people, especially the vulnerable, so that no one is left behind.

During the program, organized by the Party Central Committee’s Communications, Education, and Mass Mobilization Commission, the audiences interacted with individuals and groups who have excelled in studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s thoughts, morality, and style.
