Hanoi continues to top the list of new infections with more than 26,000 cases, followed by Nghe An and Phu Tho provinces.

Over 41,000 patients, about 0.7% of the total infections, have died.

Around 77.6 million people of the 96-million population have been vaccinated with two doses, including children aged from 12 to 17, and more than 43 million adults from 18 have received the third dose.
