The delegation conducted on-site surveys of infrastructure, transport systems, and construction works, including the Hon Khoai dual-use general port and a sea bridge linking the island to the mainland.

These projects are considered strategically important, helping to boost the marine economy and strengthen national defense and security. Ca Mau province is currently developing a plan to submit to the Politburo and the Party Central committee’s Secretariat to develop Hon Khoai port, making it economic stable and militarily strong, creating new momentum for the provincial growth.
