Chairing a nationwide online conference between the Government and local authorities on Saturday, the PM called for stronger measures to drive traditional growth engines, particularly domestic consumption and exports, while ensuring high growth goes hand in hand with macroeconomic stability, inflation control, and the maintenance of major economic balances.

He also underscored the importance of ensuring energy security in both the short and long term.

During the meeting, participants reviewed socio-economic performance in the first quarter of 2026 and outlined key tasks and solutions for the second quarter and the period ahead.

They heard reports on socio-economic developments in March and the first quarter of 2026, the allocation and disbursement of public investment, and the implementation of national target programs.

Updates were also provided on the Government’s direction and administration in March and the first quarter, along with key priorities for April and the coming period.
