At the BRICS Summit, Prime Minister Hung will deliver a speech outlining Vietnam’s views, assessments and proposals on major issues facing international cooperation, including peace, economic growth, sustainable development and global challenges.

“The BRICS agenda has expanded beyond economics and finance to include new drivers of development, such as science and technology, innovation, artificial intelligence and energy. Participating in the summit will help us gain a deeper understanding of the opportunities and challenges, while drawing on our partners’ experience and approaches to cooperation,” said Deputy Foreign Minister Nguyen Minh Hang.

Alongside multilateral activities, Prime Minister Hung will meet with Indian leaders and partners to discuss cooperation in economics, trade, investment, science and technology, and infrastructure connectivity, with a particular focus on achieving the goal of 25 billion USD in two-way trade by 2030.
