The Van Tuong victory affirmed the art of people’s war under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam and are valuable lessons in mobilizing general strength and coordination among forces of the Vietnam People’s Army.
Major General Tran Thanh Hai, Deputy Commander of Military Region 5, said: “Officers and soldiers of Military Region 5 will continue to uphold the noble traditions of self-reliance and resilience, overcome challenges and hardships, and demonstrate courage in combat to gain glorious victories. We are determined to excel in every assigned task, contributing to building and defending the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.”
Quang Ngai province inaugurated the Van Tuong Victory Museum on this occasion.
