During the two days of work, Mr. Tu and his entourage were engaged in more than 20 activities in Laos and Cambodia. He exchanged views with high-ranking leaders of Laos and Cambodia on major directions to promote comprehensive cooperation, emphasizing the effective implementation of agreements reached. The focus was on deepening and strengthening the relationship coupled with the specific interests of the people.
The permanent member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat witnessed the signing ceremony of cooperation documents between the Central Office of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Central Office of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party; and the Memorandum of Cooperation between Vietnamese localities and border provinces of Laos and Cambodia.
Mr. Tu and the high-level Vietnamese delegation also visited and met with embassy staff and the Vietnamese community in Laos and Cambodia.
