At a meeting with Speaker of the Hungarian National Assembly Kover Laszlo on Monday, PM Chinh called for enhanced cooperation in development and effective implementation of projects using Hungary’s incentive loans for Vietnam; stronger collaboration in education and training, such as nuclear energy for peaceful purposes, high technology, medicine and pharmacy, and innovation.

The Prime Minister also emphasized promoting cooperation in environmental protection, particularly water security, as well as in labor, culture, and tourism.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh urged the Hungarian National Assembly to continue supporting and urging other EU member parliaments to soon ratify the EU–Vietnam Investment Protection Agreement (EVIPA). Speaker Kover Laszlo affirmed that Hungary always advocate for other EU countries to ratify the agreement for the benefit of the EU itself.
