Vietnam’s exports to India totaled 10.3 billion USD, up 14.2 percent, while imports reached 6.1 billion USD, up 4.9 percent.
Major export items included mobile phones and components, computers and electronics, machinery, and equipment. India supplied Vietnam with essential materials such as steel, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, textiles, animal feed, and seafood. Meanwhile, Vietnam exported technology products, electronics, textiles, chemicals, wood products, footwear, spices, coffee, and pepper.
With strong economic growth in both countries and complementary market demand, Vietnam–India trade is expected to reach 20 billion USD in the coming years.
