From 4pm on Tuesday to 4pm on Wednesday, Vietnam recorded 6,192 more COVID-19 cases, of which 17 were imported and 6,175 were locally-transmitted in 58 provinces and cities.

Vietnam’s caseload has to date reached 939,463, ranking 40 out of 223 countries and territories. Calculated by the ratio of infections per 1 million people, Vietnam ranks 151 out of 223 countries and territories.

In the past 24 hours, Vietnam reported an additional 78 deaths. The death toll from COVID-19 in Vietnam is 22,283.
