According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, strong export growth was driven mainly by the processing and manufacturing sector, which generated 324.5 billion USD, accounting for 86.8% of total exports.

Notably, exports of computers, electronic products, and components reached 100 billion USD for the first time in an eight-month period. This group continues to cement its position as one of Vietnam’s key industrial export categories, with a significant impact on the trade balance and the overall growth of Vietnam’s manufacturing and assembly sector.

Key export markets maintained solid growth. Shipments to the US surpassed early-year forecasts, reaching an estimated 123.5 billion USD in eight months, up 24.8%.

Exports in June, July, and August continued to set monthly records, with August alone reaching an estimated 54.23 billion USD, the highest monthly export turnover ever recorded.
