This was a record high of international visitors for the month due to the festival season at the beginning of the year with many attractive events for foreigners, the office said. In the first two months of the year, the country welcomed more than 3 million foreign tourists, a yearly surge of 8 percent. Foreign arrivals traveling to Vietnam by air and road increased sharply. Vietnam has been named among the 14 best destinations worthy to visit in 2019, according to a list released by Forbes, a US business magazine.
