Earlier, while fishing in waters near Con Co Island, local fisherman Bui Dinh Thuy discovered three green turtles, each weighing about 1.5 kilograms, trapped in his fishing nets. Thuy kept them safe and reported the case to authorities for handling in line with regulations.
After checking their health, relevant agencies and local residents released all three turtles back into the natural marine environment.
