(VOVWORLD) - The life of ethnic people in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong has changed remarkably thanks to public unity and the State’s investment. Now, a new vitality is spreading in once-struggling areas of the province.

(VOVWORLD) -UNESCO recognition of the Cham people’s pottery making as Intangible Cultural Heritage in Need of Urgent Protection was announced at the Ninh Thuan Grape-Wine Festival 2023 on June 16. The recognition encourages local administration and Cham ethnic people to preserve and promote their heritage, preserve their traditional crafts, and increase their income by doing tourism based on pottery making.

(VOVWORLD) -The government and people of Cu Dram, a remote commune in Krong Bong district, Dak Lak province, have jointly turned unfavorable terrain and natural conditions into advantages for economic development. With capital support from the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies, locals have restructured crops to increase economic efficiency.

(VOVWORLD) - Growing mulberry trees and raising silkworms has given people in Tran Yen mountain district, Yen Bai province, an income three to four times higher than growing wet rice and other crops. Some families now earn thousands of dollars a year, and the standard of living in new-style rural communes there improves day by day.

(VOVWORLD) -Lien Minh is one of the most beautiful villages on Cat Ba Island. Villagers have taken advantage of the local natural scenery and farm produce to serve tourists, improve their standard of living, and develop the local economy.

(VOVWORLD) -Cu Lao Dung district in Soc Trang province has been focusing on digitalizing agriculture in response to Vietnam’s National Digital Transformation Program until 2025 with orientation to 2030. This has made production and trading more efficient, and has boosted local socio-economic development.

(VOVWORLD) -Yellow strawberry gardens in Nguyen Phich commune, Ca Mau province, adjacent to U Minh Ha Forest and along the Cai Tau River, have existed for hundreds of years. The Cai Tau strawberry garden has become a tourist attraction.

(VOVWORLD) -The 200-year-old Thuan Hung rice paper village in Thot Not district, Can Tho city, has been recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage. This is the first traditional craft village in Can Tho to receive the recognition.

(VOVWORLD) - Quang Ninh province’s goal is to comprehensively improve the material and spiritual life of farmers and rural residents in accordance with the happiness criteria of the national target program on building new-style rural areas. Thanks to the locals’ solidarity, many mountain and island areas in Quang Ninh, including Binh Khe mountain commune, have become role models in meeting the happiness criteria.

(VOVWORLD)-Vinh Phuc province has 19 traditional craft villages, 235 agricultural cooperatives, and several large-scale agricultural production areas. Local organizations and individuals are participating in the One Commune One Product (OCOP) Program to produce valuable and competitive products.
