(VOVWORLD) -The project “She thrives”, jointly sponsored by CARE International in Vietnam and its partners, is being implemented in Buon Ho town, Dak Lak province. It aims to improve the livelihoods of rural women and ethnic minorities by giving them the tools and resources they need.

(VOVWORLD) -Ethnic people in Bac Ha Mountain district of Lao Cai province have been provided public telecommunications services and subsidized smart phones and fees to help them keep up with Party guidelines and State policies and learn new agricultural methods to improve their economy and stabilize their lives.

(VOVWORLD) -A number of organizations and individuals in Lai Chau province are raising sturgeon and salmon by making full use of the local source of clean and cool water. This has reduced local poverty and is even making some people rich.

(VOVWORLD) -To survive and grow, traditional craft villages in Binh Duong have diversified designs and applied technology and digital transformation. The provincial administration has joined their effort by providing timely support measures.

(VOVWORLD) -The culture of ethnic communities is what attracts domestic and foreign tourists to Lai Chau province. Preserving it is a big part of the province’s tourism development strategy.

(VOVWORLD) - Less crowded than markets in the lowlands, the market in the border district of Binh Lieu in Quang Ninh province is no less bustling and colorful. It has long been a meeting place for the local ethnic minorities.

(VOVWORLD) -Na Hau commune is located in the core area of the Na Hau Nature Reserve in Van Yen district, Yen Bai province. This is a long-standing habitat of the Mong ethnic group. Although life there is difficult, generations of local Mong people have protected the forests.

(VOVWORLD) -The La Hu ethnic group in Lai Chau province used to have an unstable and difficult life because of their nomadic lifestyle. Thanks to the state’s efforts to persuade them to settle down and the border guards teaching them new economic models, their living conditions have greatly improved.

(VOVWORLD) -Quang Hoa village’s Tam Dien hamlet in Krong Nang district is 100% Nung An ethnic minority. Since 1986, when the Nung people migrated from Cao Bang province to Dak Lak, their lives have greatly improved, but they still follow their traditional culture.

(VOVWORLD) - The shrimp-rice farming model of safe agricultural products and climate change adaptation has been implemented effectively and developed sustainably in Ca Mau province. Ca Mau now has more than 40,000 ha of shrimp-rice farms located mainly in Thoi Binh, Tran Van Thoi, U Minh, and Cai Nuoc district and Ca Mau city. In recent years, new farming techniques and high-quality rice and shrimp varieties have been adopted, boosting farmers’ income significantly.
