(VOVWORLD) - Yen Chau is a fruit growing district of Son La province. Many of its products - mango, longan, banana, and plum - have been exported. Yen Chau has developed fruit tree zones of organic farming and applied Vietnamese Good Agricultural Practices (VietGAP) standards to the production process to ensure a stable output, improve the quality, and meet the strict requirements of the export market.

(VOVWORLD) - The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the German Development Cooperation Agency (GIZ) have jointly sponsored the Vietnam Green Innovation Center in Agriculture and Food Project (GIC Vietnam) in an effort to improve agriculture in the Mekong Delta region. Kien Giang, one of six program participants from 2020 to 2024, has been trying to improve its agriculture value chains, specifically rice and mango.

(VOVWORLD) -Beekeeping is a traditional profession in U Minh Ha forest in Ca Mau province. It has been recognized as a national heritage. Today young people are using high tech to preserve and develop the profession.

(VOVWORLD) - Son La province has a large area of fruit trees and a high output of agricultural products for export. Fruit tree development has been identified as one of the key programs to restructure the agricultural sector, boost agricultural production in line with high-tech application and promotion of value chains. The harvest season, Son La is implementing plans to help local farmers have bumper crops.

(VOVWORLD) - People in Chu Se district, Gia Lai province, started raising swiftlets after realizing that the local climate and environment are suitable for the birds. Salangane farming is now boosting the local economy.

(VOVWORLD) - Almost every family in the Dok Rong village in Glar commune, Gia Lai province, belongs to the Bahnar ethnic minority. Dok Rong has been an outstanding village in implementing the National Target Program on New-style Rural Building. Dok Rong villagers have embraced the local government’s efforts to change the locality and make Glar one of the new-style rural communes of Dak Doa district.

(VOVWORLD) - Located 40km north of Phan Thiet city, Binh Thuan province, Hong Chinh fishing village is widely known for its primitive beauty. On receiving more investment and becoming more connected with the famous white sand dunes in the province, Hong Chinh fishing village is expected to become a new popular destination in the Mui Ne national tourism site.

(VOVWORLD) - Despite its overpopulation and underdeveloped infrastructure, Binh Chanh, one of the suburban districts of Ho Chi Minh City, has over the past decade completed the national target program on creating new-style rural areas. This work has significantly changed the face of rural areas, transformed the economic structure with many effective models, and improved people’s living standards.

(VOVWORLD) - Gia Lai province has 18,000 hectares of pepper growing land, the largest area in the Central Highlands. Local farmers are currently in the main pepper harvest season. Sustainable planting methods have helped growers earn a profit.
