(VOVWORLD) - Van Diem carpentry village in Hanoi’s Thuong Tin district is renowned for its exquisite wood products. The village has been recognized by the Hanoi Department of Tourism as a high-end destination.

(VOVWORLD) - Binh Duong province is home to 32 traditional craft villages, several of which have been recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage. In the face of market economy’s strong impacts, policies have been in place to preserve and develop these craft villages and support local businesses and artisans.

(VOVWORLD) - In six years since it was founded in 2019, the brocade weaving club of Kep village in Ia Mo Nong commune, Gia Lai province, has contributed significantly to the development of community tourism. By combining tourism and their craft, local Jrai ethnic women are preserving their cultural heritage while boosting the local economy.

(VOVWORLD) - Bat Trang pottery village met cultural, historical, economic, and social criteria to be accepted last month as an official member of the Global Network of Creative Craft Cities. This will open up opportunities for the village to promote its craft to the world.

(VOVWORLD) - Van Phuc silk village in Hanoi’s Ha Dong district was officially recognized as a member of the Global Network of Creative Craft Cities in mid-February. This is an opportunity for the village to promote its silk products and assert its brand around the world, thereby preserving the traditional craft.

(VOVWORLD) -Established three years ago, the weaving club of Phung village in Bien Ho commune, Gia Lai province, is preserving the traditional brocade weaving craft of Vietnam’s Jrai ethnic minority, and creating jobs for the local women.
