(VOVWORLD) - Tan Chau town in An Giang province is home to “Lanh My A”, a luxuriously soft and beautiful handmade silk.

(VOVWORLD) - 80% of the Khmer ethnic people who live in Ca Hom-Ben Ba village in Ham Tan commune, Tra Vinh province, are engaged in the craft of mat weaving. Mat weaving began there in 1920 after local women visited relatives in the southernmost province of Ca Mau province and learned it. Upon their return, they cut sedge, split it into fibers, dried it, asked the local men to build looms, and started weaving. Their first sedge mats were very rough and clumsy but they used them instead of buying mats at the market. The mats improved and by the 1940s, the whole village was making mats and selling them at the market. The craft village’s golden age was the 1960s.

(VOVWORLD) - The conical hat of Phu Gia village in Phu Cat district, Binh Dinh province, has been called a "masterpiece". This unique handicraft product bears the cultural and historical identity of King Quang Trung’s reign. The time-honored craft was recently recognized as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.

(VOVWORLD) - Twice a week – on Thursday morning and Sunday afternoon – Protestants gather at Hoang A Di's house in Pac Ra hamlet, Bao Lam district, Cao Bang province, to practice their religion – singing hymns, reading the Bible, and saying prayers.

(VOVWORLD) - A program to replace dilapidated houses in Cao Bang province is giving the poor a better life. Ha Quang district has become a role model in implementing this program.

(VOVWORLD) - Na Ca is a hamlet of mostly Mong and Dao ethnic people in Pac Miau town, Bao Lam district, Cao Bang province. A majority of the village’s 830 people are Protestants.

(VOVWORLD) -The northern mountain border district of Ha Quang in Cao Bang province has 21 communes and towns that are home mainly to ethnic minority people. The remoteness, poor infrastructure, and low annual rainfall that results in water shortages make living here very difficult. The district is trying hard to escape poverty by 2025.

(VOVWORLD) - Hoai Khao, a small village in Nguyen Binh district, Cao Bang province, is home to the Dao Tien ethnic group. The village with its stunning natural landscapes and ethnic culture has been turned into a community tourism model.

(VOVWORLD) - Vung Vieng fishing village is within the protected expanse of Bai Tu Long Bay, 20 kilometers northeast of Tuan Chau International Passenger Port, Ha Long city. Vung Vieng has been named one of the 16 most beautiful fishing villages in the world.

(VOVWORLD) -Thuy Ung village in Thuong Tin district, 30 kilometers south of Hanoi, has been making combs from buffalo and cow horns for 400 years. Since the mid-16th century, the craft has been passed down from generation to generation of villagers.
