The Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) has strengthened activities to connect and transfer the results of scientific studies to the community. The goal is to promote its scientists’ intellect and enthusiasm and the practical experience of T&T Group to contribute to scientific development, technological application, and innovation meeting global standards.

The scientists have worked closely in scientific research and technology transfer, human resource training and development.

Vu Van Tich, Head of the Department of Science and Technology, VNU, said: “Cooperative programs connect parties to organize technological transfer between regions, universities, and businesses to create ecosystems. We aim to enhance mutual support to create specific cooperative programs and promote Vietnam’s scientific and technological transfer in the future.”

Pham Hong Quat, Director of the Department for Market Development and Scientific and Technological Businesses of the Ministry of Science and Technology, said that training and technology transfer from universities in collaboration with businesses will generate quality human resources for businesses in the future.

“We are entering a stage of scientific and technical development, and we are in dire need of high-quality human resources. We will support young doctors to pursue their passions, especially attracting overseas PhD students to come back to work in Vietnam,” said Quat.

The Vietnamese government has identified investment in education, science, and technology as a smart investment for national sustainable development. Nurturing young talents to build a foundation for leading scientists, managers, exemplary pedagogues and talent for Vietnam in the future.
