14th National Party Congress: Vietnam’s inspiring path of development
(VOVWORLD) - The 14th National Party Congress will define Vietnam’s development goals and directions for the next phase in a complex international environment, Cuban war correspondent Luis Manuel Arce Isaac told reporters in Havana.

He said the outstanding achievements of the 13th Party Congress term and 40 years of Doi Moi (renewal) have shown the correctness of Vietnam’s development path. Annual economic growth during the 2021-2025 period was 6.3%, placing Vietnam among the fastest-growing economies in the world; national defense and security were strengthened; foreign relations and international integration were elevated to a new level; and significant progress made in Party building, rectification, and administrative reform.
Mr. Isaac said he is confident that the Action Program implementing the 14th National Party Congress Resolution will create a solid foundation for Vietnam to enter a new era of development and prosperity, further affirming its position as a new upper-middle-income nation that has achieved outstanding progress in the Human Development Index.
Isaac said Vietnam is inspiring for its socio-economic achievements and its altruistic, constructive spirit in putting people at the center of development and strengthening institutions.
