Speaking with Vietnamese media, Ambassador He said the next five years will be a period of comprehensive development and major breakthroughs for Vietnam. He highlighted 3 major breakthroughs:

First, a breakthrough in national governance capacity. In the coming period, Vietnam is expected to continue innovating its thinking while building and refining a comprehensive institutional framework across all sectors, including effectively promoting the new two-tier local government model, removing institutional bottlenecks, and mobilizing social resources to modernize the national governance system.

Second, a breakthrough in national strength. Under the leadership of the new Party Central Committee, Vietnam will continue to uphold the leading role of the state economy while recognizing the private sector as a vital driving force. Science, technology, and digital transformation will act as catalysts to shift the growth model toward higher quality and efficiency, generating significant socio-economic growth.

Third, a breakthrough in international influence and status. Vietnam is expected to persist with its foreign policy of independence and self-reliance, while advancing Party, State, and people-to-people diplomacy in a coordinated manner. By eagerly participating in addressing global challenges and contributing to improvements in global governance mechanisms, Vietnam will further affirm its role as an active member, a reliable partner, and a responsible nation within the international community.
