National symposim on Vietnam’s traditional long dress
(VOVWORLD) - A national seminar on Vietnam’s traditional long dress was held on Friday in Hanoi under the theme “Vietnamese Ao Dai: Recognition, customs, values and identity”.

This is the 1st ever national seminar on the Vietnamese long dress, which aims to clarify the historical, artistic, cultural and social values of the traditional clothing.
Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism Trinh Thi Thuy said, "The Vietnamese long dress has been considered a symbol of Vietnamese women’s attire, bearing in it historical, cultural, social, and unique artistic values. The dress has become a source of inspiration for many artists which reflects Vietnam’s unique cultural values."
