Reporting to the top legislator, President of the Vietnamese Students Association in Italy, Vu Thi Bich Diep, thanked the Vietnamese National Assembly for its attention, guidance, and facilitation of the development of education. She proposed that relevant agencies strengthen mechanisms to support Vietnamese citizens abroad and connect Vietnamese students abroad with domestic and global labor markets.

In a warm and friendly atmosphere, the National Assembly Chairman informed of the success of the 14th National Party Congress, the 16th National Assembly elections, and the National Assembly's recent restructuring of its leadership apparatus for the new term. The Party has decided on major policies to lead the country into a new era – an era of national progress, he said, adding that the National Party Congress Resolution places special emphasis on developing high-quality human resources to serve national development.

“The National Assembly also institutionalizes favorable conditions for students to have access to the labor market and find employment after returning to the country, to meet the requirements of students whose primary aspiration is to serve the country and the people. Now, our country also has adopted policies to attract experts and talented individuals with professional qualifications to return and serve the country, such as Resolution 57. There are also incentives for Vietnamese experts and scientists abroad to return home,” Chairman Man said.

Chairman Man asked the Vietnamese Embassy in Italy to continue understanding the thoughts and aspirations of overseas students to create the most favorable conditions for their living and studying and protecting the rights of Vietnamese people in the host country. He said he hopes overseas students will strive in their studies and capitalize on their intellect, experience, and capabilities to contribute to national construction and development.
