Quang Tri to become a city for peace
(VOVWORLD) - Quang Tri is planned to become a city for peace, said Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Hung at a ceremony on Friday evening to mark 210 years of the establishment of Quang Tri province and 30 years of the reestablishment of Quang Tri township.

Mr. Hung said: “Becoming a city for peace will be very meaningful to Quang Tri township, which underwent a painful period of war. We are promoting a series of activities for the upcoming festival for peace.”
On September 16th, 1989, Quang Tri township was established, marking an important milestone for the development of the town and Quang Tri province.
