The program covers 5 cities and provinces of Lao Cai, Hanoi, Hai Phong, and Quang Ninh in Vietnam, and Chinese Yunnan. They discussed cooperation in transport, logistics, trade and investment, healthcare and tourism. Delegates witnessed the signing of cooperative deals between Vietnamese and Chinese businesses and associations in financing, e-commerce and tourism.  The cooperative mechanism has brought about faster transport connectivity, including the Hanoi Haiphong Highway connected to Hanoi Lao Cai Highway through the Tan Vu - Lach Huyen Sea crossing Bridge. The Hai Phong - Ha Long Express way is to be completed next year to facilitate transport and tourism operations straight to Yunnan, China.
