NA Chairman Man is now on an official trip Italy from Saturday to next Wednesday.
According to the Ambassador, the trip is conveying a strong political signal because it takes place immediately after Mr. Man's re-election as Chairman of the 16th National Assembly and is his first official foreign visit in this new capacity.
In addition, this is the first high-level delegation led by the head of the legislative body, the Ambassador emphasized that parliaments are at the heart of the legislative process and the enactment of regulations for cooperation in key areas such as trade, investment, energy, defense, and security. For two increasingly interconnected economies like Italy and Vietnam, dialogue between legislative bodies is essential to ensure that the legal frameworks of both sides are aligned, forward-looking, and support common goals.
According to Ambassador Seta, the trip reflects the forward-looking nature of the partnership between Vietnam and Italy. Along with high-level institutional meetings in Rome, including a meeting with President Sergio Mattarella, Chairman Man is expected to visit Italy's economic and innovation ecosystem and open a policy dialogue in Milan, fostering exchanges between institutions and businesses.
