Artists will compete in 11 categories and multiple formats, including mixed choirs, youth and senior choirs, as well as sacred and folk choirs.
A variety of activities will take place as part of the program, including international choir performances along the streets, artistic exchanges between artists, locals, and tourists, as well as art performances on the Hoai River.
Visitors will also get to sample international cuisine and immerse themselves in a vibrant recreation of the early 20th century Hoi An.
The event, jointly held by Germany-based Interkultur, demonstrates Hoi An's commitment to fostering creativity across various fields as part of its membership in the UNESCO Creative Cities Network (UCCN).
