Speaking at the 1st Law Building Forum themed “Improving institutions and laws to meet national development requirements in the new era,” in Hanoi on Saturday, Chairman Man said the National Assembly has in recent years reviewed and adopted a large number of laws and resolutions, many of which are historic decisions that promptly address obstacles, promote socio-economic development, and ensure national defense, security, external relations, and the fight against corruption, wastefulness, and other negative practices.
During the last four sessions of the 15th tenure, the National Assembly demonstrated a strong spirit of innovation in legislative thinking, applied science, technology, and artificial intelligence, and responded flexibly and promptly to emerging situations, making decisions on complex issues arising from real life.
He said: “It’s important to ensure that every law originates from national interests and the legitimate aspirations of the people. We need to continuing to promote innovative thinking in the legislative process, turning the legal system into a competitive advantage and a driving force for national development, and regarding legislative development as the ‘breakthrough of all breakthroughs.”
