Twelve locations along national highways remain affected by landslides, and the North–South railway has 15 damaged points, with full clearance expected by Wednesday night.
Currently, rainfall in the central and Central Highlands provinces has decreased, and floodwaters are gradually receding. However, the risk of landslides and flooding remains, particularly in Dak Lak province.
On Monday, Khanh Hoa province declared a state of emergency due to natural disasters to address severe damage to traffic infrastructure on multiple national and provincial roads. Two routes over Khanh Son Pass and Khanh Le Pass remain completely blocked by massive landslides and debris. Authorities are racing against time to clear the roads and reopen them as soon as possible.
