Le Quang Nam, Vice Chairman of the municipal People's Committee, said, “I ask the police, border guards and localities to continue tightening quarantine checkpoints, ensuring that all people entering and leaving the city make medical declarations. The COVID-19 team in the community continue supervision and management of people returning to Da Nang from epidemic areas. The Department of Health and other departments should complete reports to assess and forecast the epidemic situation."
"The departments need to propose loosening some epidemic prevention and control measures to be applied when the city has no locally-transmitted cases for 21 days,” Nam said.
The Da Nang Department of Health has continued to develop a plan to vaccinate people against COVID-19.
