During the Assembly’s discussion on the draft resolution on specific mechanisms and policies to improve the effectiveness of Vietnam’s international integration, Deputy Thi from Hanoi delegation stressed the need to have a “particularly flexible mechanism on income, working conditions for career development or to attract and use talented Vietnamese and international scientists and experts in these key fields.”

Lawmakers expressed their agreement with the necessity of issuing the resolution, calling it an important step to fine tune the institution and improve the capacity for international integration in the new period in line with of Resolution No. 59 of the Politburo.

They also gave their opinions on establishing an international integration enterprise fund, increasing resources for international integration at the local level, decentralizing more clearly to commune levels in border areas, and regulating the establishment of representative offices of provincial People's Committees abroad.
