Lawmakers will discuss and decide on organizational structure and personnel matters; pass eight draft laws and one resolution; and review socio-economic, financial, budgetary and oversight issues, along with other key matters, according to a press conference in Hanoi on Friday.
“Selecting, electing and approving a leadership team with outstanding qualities, capacity and credibility will be decisive in achieving socio-economic development goals, improving the effectiveness of national governance, and meeting public expectations,” said Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly’s Committee for Deputy Affairs Ta Thi Yen.
“This is not only a personnel matter but also an important foundation for a new term with renewed expectations for action and development.”
The session will also focus on fiscal and monetary policies, as well as measures to promote growth.
