At a reception in Hanoi on Friday for SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won, the Party leader urged the Korean company to collaborate closely with Vietnamese authorities and localities to ensure swift, practical, and effective implementation of these projects.
He emphasized that Vietnam and the Republic of Korea are working toward bilateral trade of 150 billion USD by 2030.
Chairman Chey, who is also Chairman of the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), said as a leading energy firm, SK wants to contribute to Vietnam’s sustainable economic growth.
SK aims to cooperate with Vietnam in energy solutions, and the development of LNG infrastructure, hydrogen energy, small modular nuclear reactors (SMRs), high-tech agriculture, and logistics, he said.
