At the 12th meeting of the Central Council for Emulation and Reward in Hanoi, PM Chinh stressed the need to intensify emulation movements to mark major national events in 2025.
"During war, all people emulated to fight the enemy. During peace, they compete to get rich. So, it is necessary to find an appropriate name for the movement, which could be ‘Movement of the entire people competing for national construction and development,’” he said.
In addition to the socio-economic emulation movements, the Prime Minister proposed another emulation movement to encourage the creation of valuable literary and artistic works about advanced models and witnesses of revolutionary history to meet the needs of people’s cultural enjoyment and improve their quality of life.
