Addressing 500 officials and business representatives from the two countries, PM Chinh said Vietnam and Algeria have great cooperation potential in multiple areas, and the newly-established strategic partnership framework will open up a space for more collaboration.
Mr. Chinh called on Vietnamese investors to invest in Algeria’s energy sector—particularly wind and solar power—and to expand oil refining and petrochemical production. He urged Petrovietnam to increase investment with a view to exporting to other markets, and proposed that Viettel Group work with Algerian partners to manufacture 5G and 6G equipment.
