Addressing the event, Chairman Man proposed enhancing parliamentary cooperation and maintaining regular policy dialogue and consultation mechanisms to build a solid foundation for comprehensive ties.

He urged the two countries to expand cooperation in areas of mutual strength, including manufacturing, textiles, footwear, high-tech agriculture, tourism, energy, transport infrastructure, and logistics, as well as strategic sectors such as digital transformation, innovation, green and circular economies, and renewable energy.

He also highlighted the importance of developing transport corridors and strengthening supply chain connectivity between the two regions.

He affirmed that Vietnam’s National Assembly will continue working closely with the Government to improve the legal framework and create a more favorable investment environment to support bilateral cooperation.

On the same occasion, the Vietnamese top legislator met with Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili. The two sides agreed to strengthen parliamentary ties, promote the early establishment of a Vietnam–Georgia Friendship Parliamentarians’ Group, uphold international law, and resolve disputes through peaceful means.
