Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi is also honored on this year’s list, marking a notable milestone for female representation in global politics, as women account for around 30% of those selected by Time in 2026.
A standout figure in the “Pioneers” category is American astronaut Reid Wiseman, who commanded the Artemis II mission to the Moon.
In the “Titans” category, Time honored American actress Zoe Saldana, actor Ben Stiller, Nigerian billionaire Aliko Dangote, American fashion designer Ralph Lauren, and Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan, among others.
Singer Jennie of the group BLACKPINK was honored in the “Artists” category. Among the “Icons” selected by Time are American actress-singer Hilary Duff, actor-writer-director Ethan Hawke, and Korean-American professional snowboarder Chloe Kim.
The 2026 Time100 list features comedian Nikki Glaser, ice hockey legend Hilary Knight, and Chef Vikas Khanna among others in the "Innovators" category.
