The session, chaired by Communist Party USA Co-Chair Joe Sims, brought together senior Party officials and members of Vietnam’s Permanent Mission to the UN.
The two sides agreed to expand theoretical exchange and youth engagement and connect labor and peace movements in the two countries.
Communist Party USA leaders said they intend to send more delegations to Vietnam, particularly youth groups, to study its socialist development firsthand.
